My name is Iván Andreu Rascón, and I am an Assistant Professor at Creighton University. With over ten years of experience in education, my research focuses on the acquisition of Spanish as a second and additional language, exploring how the bilingual mind perceives, produces, and categorizes native and non-native sounds. Recent projects explore the effects of phonetic training on non-native contrasts and the interaction between visual and auditory modalities in bilingual speech perception.
